Mixing
Stems need to be labelled correctly and should be consolidated so that they are all the same length as the length of the song

What you get: 24bit 48k mixed wav file + 24bit 48k instrumental wav file
Mastering
What we need from you:
You should export your file at the highest quality it can be if possible.
We recommend exporting your audio file in Wav. 24bit 48k before sending it to us but we will master the best you've got
What you get: You'll receive 3 files.
mp3, 16bit 44.1k wav & 24bit 48k wav so all your needs are covered and ready for distribution.
Stem Mastering
Stem Mastering is a premium mastering service.
What we need from you: You will deliver bussed stems, eg. Drums, Guitars, Synths, Vocals etc (Max 8 stems)
What you'll get: These stems are further treated and allows the mastering engineer to deliver an intricately premium master.
Files
All files will be delivered via File Pass and payment is required before download
Files are delivered in 16bit 44.1k
We wipe our hard drives every 2 months so please look after your received files.
TERMS
Cancellations and Postponements: Sessions can be cancelled or re-scheduled without penalty up to 48 hours before the session.
Sit in sessions at at Broad Records are rare. Having artists int he studio with us while we work slows us down dramatically and a $150 fee applies to to all sit in sessions to be paid on arrival.
PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
Currency: All pricing is in AUD.
By booking with Broad Records you agree that you are responsible for all money due to Broad Records.
Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer or credit/debit card.
Refunds only apply to bookings where Broad Records is at fault.
COVID & Recording: Vocalists are to provide their own pop filters and must attend with antibacterial wipes to clean studio microphones after use until further notice. This is to keep you and our other clients safe and keep our music scene thriving.
Revisions: All Mixes include 3 unattended revisions and all Masters include 1 unattended revision.
Please note:
Revisions do not cover the inclusion of any additional parts added after completion of the first Mix/Master. Eg: If mixing and mastering have been completed and you wish to add an element to the track then both mixing and mastering will be charged again in full. If after mastering you require a mix revision then mastering will need to be paid for again in full.
Please talk to your engineer if you do not fully understand these terms completely.
Signing Off on Mixes Prior to Mastering: Once a mix has been signed off as “ready for mastering” taking it back to any previous stages of the production process may incur additional fees.
Additional Bounces: All bounces excluding final mixes, final masters and revisions are considered “Additional Bounces” each Additional bounce is purchasable at $35 each.
Stems & Pro Tools Sessions: Our “Stem Service” is available to you at anytime and charged at our standard hourly rate. Please allocate sufficient time for rendering to take place and note that we do not provide Pro Tools Sessions.
PRIVACY
Broad Records is committed to providing you with the best possible customer service experience. Broad Records is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which sets out a number of principles concerning the privacy of individuals.
Collection of your personal information
There are many aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information, however, for access to future Broad Records customer support features you are required to submit personally identifiable information. This may include but not limited to a unique username and password, or provide sensitive information in the recovery of your lost password.
Sharing of your personal information
We may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries, processing transactions or customer freight shipping. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. Broad Records takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.
Use of your personal information
For each visitor to reach the site, we expressively collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used solely internally for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalized content to you while you are at this Site.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will use for these new purposes only, data collected from the time of the policy change forward will adhere to our updated practices.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Broad Records reserves the right to make amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time. If you have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Site.
Accessing Your Personal Information
You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons. Broad Records reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for, and providing access to, your information on a per request basis.
